Effect of an Environmental School-Based Obesity Prevention Program on Changes in Body Fat and Body Weight: A Randomized Trial

Examines the efficacy of two school-based programs to prevent weight gain and increased body fat in overweight children, grades 4 through 6, from rural Louisiana communities. Includes baseline characteristics of the study population, statistics and data on changes in the percent body fat and BMI over time based on prevention strategies in the school-based programs.
