Surveillance Success Stories: The Fort Peck Indian Reservation
Describes a partnership between the National Native Children's Trauma Center (NNCTC) and the Fort Peck Indian Reservation that examines and compares data from healthcare providers and emergency services within the reservation and in surrounding Roosevelt County. The objective was to establish a baseline of understanding of suicidal behavior on the reservation in order to effectively apply their suicide prevention resources, and monitor individual cases to determine if their methods were successful.
