UAMS Utilizes Telemedicine Program to Provide Faster Stroke Treatment
Oct 11, 2018 - Highlights the Arkansas Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support (AR SAVES) program, a pilot program that allows physicians to assess suspected stroke patients using telemedicine while in transit via ambulance to local hospitals. Many of the hospitals participating in the program are located in rural parts of the state.
