AHRQ Small Research Grant Program (R03)
Supports different types of health services research projects, including pilot and feasibility studies; secondary analysis of existing data; small, self-contained research projects; development of research methodology; and development of new research technology. Rural and frontier areas are considered a priority population.

Oweesta Native CDFI Loan Funds and Technical Assistance
Oweesta is an intermediary organization that provides financial products and development services for Native Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). The primary goal is to support Native CDFIs so that they have the capacity to assist individuals, businesses, and organizations with financing and technical assistance for the development of small businesses, affordable housing/home ownership, community facilities, financial education programs, and agriculture/food sovereignty in Native communities.

Alaska Native Tribal Resource Center on Domestic Violence Inactive
Funding to support a single Alaska Native Tribal Resource Center on Domestic Violence that will focus on the intervention and prevention of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence by offering culturally sensitive statewide information, training, and technical assistance designed to reduce tribal disparities within Alaska Native communities and villages.

Effectiveness of Implementing Sustainable Evidence-Based Mental Health Practices in Low-Resource Settings to Achieve Mental Health Equity for Traditionally Underserved Populations (R01) Inactive
Grants for research to develop and test the effectiveness of strategies for implementation and sustainable delivery of evidence-based mental health treatments and services to improve mental health outcomes for underserved populations in under-resourced settings. Under-resourced settings and populations include members of minority groups, other individuals experiencing disparities in mental health outcomes, and people living in a geographic area with a shortage of healthcare services.

AHRQ Health Services Research Demonstration and Dissemination Grants (R18) Inactive
Supports the dissemination and implementation of research projects related to AHRQ's mission to produce evidence to make healthcare safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable. AHRQ's priorities include an interest in rural and frontier healthcare delivery.

End-of-Life and Palliative Care Approaches to Advanced Signs and Symptoms (R01 and R21 Clinical Trial Optional) Inactive
Grants for research to examine the multi-dimensional foundations, experiences, and management of complex, advanced signs and symptoms at the end of life. Projects that include under-studied populations including NIH-designated health disparity, socioeconomically disadvantaged, rural and/or remote, and sexual and gender minority populations with advanced, serious illness at the end of life are specifically encouraged.

Improving Management of Opioids and Opioid Use Disorder in Older Adults Inactive
Funding to develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate strategies to improve the management of opioid use and opioid use disorder in older adults in primary care settings, especially in settings with large segments of socially at-risk older adults.

Evidence-Based Tele-Behavioral Health Network Program Inactive
Funding to use telehealth networks to increase access to behavioral healthcare services in rural, underserved communities and to conduct evaluations of those efforts to establish an evidence-base for assessing the effectiveness of direct-to-consumer telehealth technologies for patients, providers, and payers.
