Jun 15, 2017 - Notice of intent from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to revise the application and other forms used by the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program, the NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Program (S2S LRP), and the Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program (NHHSP). Revisions include the removal of two forms for the NHSC S2S LRP application section. Comments regarding the proposed revisions must be submitted no later than July 17, 2017.

Jun 6, 2017 - Notice of funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announcing single-source awards to two groups of current Nurse Education, Practice, Quality, and Retention (NEPQR) - Veteran's Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (VBSN) program recipients. Approximately $6.2 million is available to continue the training of the 672 veteran students who are in the middle of their program studies.

HRSA: Determination of Number of Entities and Recruitment of Entities for Assignment of Corps Personnel Obligated Under the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program Federal Register
May 4, 2017 - Announces that for the October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018 National Health Service Corps (NHSC) placement cycle, eligible sites must have a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) score of 17 or higher to be included on the Health Workforce Connector website and receive priority scholar placement. Sites with HPSA scores lower than 17 may post their job openings on the Health Workforce Connector, but NHSC scholars will only be allowed to apply for positions at sites whose score is 17 or greater.

Apr 28, 2017 - Notice of intent from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to collect information as part of the newly developed Health Workforce Connector. The proposed data collection function within the Health Workforce Connector will allow users to create an account, complete a profile, and search for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and NURSE Corps job opportunities. Data collection efforts are designed to expand the functionality of the Health Workforce Connector. Comments regarding the proposed information collection activities must be submitted by May 30, 2017.
