Michigan Physician Investigator Research Award
This program is for physicians who have an interest in health and medical care research related to one or more of the following:
- Urgent health issues
- Health differences between populations
- Social determinants of health
- Healthcare access
- Quality
- Cost
Physicians based in Michigan are eligible to apply. Their organizations must be nonprofit.
Up to $10,000.

Applicants must submit a concept paper to foundation@bcbsm.com. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
Applications are reviewed at Board of Directors meetings 3 times per year. Dates and deadlines are listed in the grant application timelines section of the program website.
