The Minnesota Dentist Loan Forgiveness Program provides loan repayment assistance to dental students, residents, and licensed dentists who plan to provide at least 25% of annual patient encounters to state public program enrollees or patients receiving a sliding fee schedule in Minnesota.
The program is offered to dental students, residents, or licensed dentists who provide, or plan to provide, at least 25% of their annual patient encounters to state public program enrollees or patients receiving a sliding fee schedule in Minnesota. Dentists must be fully licensed by March 31 following selection to be eligible.
Preference is given to applicants closest to completing their training and those who can demonstrate diverse cultural competencies.
Up to $41,000 per year with a maximum of $164,000.
