The Kansas Bridging Plan offers loan forgiveness to
resident physicians working in primary care and
psychiatry who agree to a 3 year service contract to work
in rural areas of Kansas.
Eligible Kansas resident programs include:
- Family medicine
- Internal medicine
- Emergency medicine
- Child Psychiatry
Amount of funding
The combined financial incentive can be up to $26,000,
and loans are forgiven at the completion of the service
Up to 14 slots are for primary care and 3 slots for
