North Dakota Flex CAH Subcontract Program

Purpose

The Flex program will provide funding for Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in rural North Dakota for the following financial and operational improvement areas of choice:

  • Coding and billing chart audit
  • Chargemaster review
  • Chargemaster scrub
  • 340B external audit
  • Revenue cycle management
  • Service line assessment
  • Other approved cost report strategies or compliance reviews

Only one activity may be selected per application.

Eligibility

All North Dakota Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) and CAH-owned Rural Health Clinics are eligible to apply. A CAH may submit more than one application; however, it may only have one active subcontract for each area of focus.
