Purpose

The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF) Health Care Careers Scholarship Program provides scholarships for students in Iowa seeking careers in high-need healthcare fields.

Scholarship recipients are required to work in an Iowa hospital one year for each year of scholarship awarded.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program leading to licensure or clinical laboratory degree and be within 3 years of program completion.

60 recipients will be awarded scholarships up to $6,000 over 2 years.

Scholarship recipients agree to work in an Iowa hospital one year for each year they receive an award.
