The National Center for Farmworker Health Bobbi Ryder Ag Worker Health Champion Award offers scholarships for individuals pursuing or continuing their career in the healthcare, thus contributing to the development of the health center workforce and improving access to care for the agricultural worker population.
Applicants should be employees and board members of a health center interested in pursuing or continuing their career in community health and dedicated to improving access to care for the agricultural worker population. Individuals who have worked in agriculture are encouraged to apply, though it is not a requirement.
Scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded to support degree programs.
Scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded to support certificate programs or other educational opportunities, such as conferences, seminars, and subject courses.
