Purpose

The Licensed Vocational Nurse Loan Repayment Program provides loan repayment assistance for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) practicing in medically underserved areas (MUA) or health professional shortage areas (HPSA) in California.

Recipients must agree to a minimum 1 year, full-time service agreement with a qualified facility.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are California residents who are currently licensed and practicing as Vocational Nurses in MUAs or HPSAs in California.

Up to $6,000 for 12 months of service. Applicants may receive up to 3 awards.
