New York Primary Care Service Corps Loan Repayment Program

The Primary Care Service Corps (PCSC) offers loan repayment assistance to healthcare professionals who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area of New York. Applicants must agree to serve for a 3-year term.
Eligible professions include:
- Dentists
- Dental hygienists
- Nurse practitioners
- Physician assistants
- Certified nurse midwives
- Clinical psychologists
- Licensed clinical social workers
- Licensed marriage and family therapists
- Licensed mental health counselors
- Up to $72,000 for dentists
- Up to $54,000 for primary care clinicians
- Up to $36,000 for clinical psychologists, licensed clinical social workers licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed mental health counselors, and registered dental hygienists
Awards may not exceed the amount of an individual's qualifying educational debt.
A total of $1,000,000 is available.
