Missouri J-1 Visa Waiver Program
All slots have been filled for the 2019 cycle. The 2020 cycle will open on October 1, 2019.
The Missouri Conrad 30 J-1 Visa Waiver Program offers a J-1 Visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Missouri, waiving the foreign medical residency requirement and allowing them to remain in the United States. The program is intended to provide physician services in areas which typically have difficulty attracting and retaining physicians.
For the FY 2019 cycle, only applications from primary care physicians in one of the following areas will be accepted:
- Family Practice
- General Practice
- Internal Medicine
- General Psychiatry
This is an incentive program that offers foreign physicians a visa waiver, allowing them to work in the U.S.
