Purpose

The Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program offers loan repayment assistance for individuals providing public service in eligible employment fields, serving low-income residents of Maryland.

Eligibility

Eligible professions include:

  • Nurses and nurse faculty
  • Physical and occupational therapists
  • Speech pathologists
  • Social workers
  • Licensed clinical counselors
  • Teachers
  • Lawyers
  • Public school nurses
  • School mental health professionals

Eligible applicants must have graduated from a Maryland institution.
