The Wyoming State Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment assistance to primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, dentists, dental hygienists, pharmacists, nurses, and mental health clinicians who agree to serve at an approved National Health Service Corps site.

Awardees must agree to serve full-time for a period of 2 years.

Priority will be given to:

• Higher HPSA scores for service sites
• Providers with the least amount of time practicing in Wyoming
• Graduates from the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming Community College
• Special skills and experiences such as fluency in languages other than English and experience in rural and medically underserved communities

Eligible professions include the following disciplines:

• Physicians (MD and DO)
• Dentists (DDS, DMD)
• Physician assistants
• Nurse practitioners
• Certified nurse midwives
• Registered dental hygienists
• Pharmacists
• Registered nurses
• Health service psychologists
• Licensed clinical social workers
• Psychiatric nurse specialists
• Licensed professional counselors
• Marriage and family therapists
• Alcohol and substance abuse counselors

Up to $34,339 will be awarded to two healthcare professionals each.

Total funding available: $68,678
