The Wyoming State Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment assistance to primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, and mental health clinicians who agree to serve at an approved National Health Service Corps site.
Awardees must agree to serve full-time for a period of 2 years.
Priority will be given to:
- Higher HPSA scores for service sites
- Providers with the least amount of time practicing in Wyoming
- Graduates from the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming Community College
Eligible professions include the following primary care disciplines:
- Physicians (MD and DO)
- Physician assistants
- Nurse practitioners
- Certified nurse midwives
- Mental health clinicians
Up to $40,000 for physicians.
Up to $20,000 for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, and mental health clinicians.
Total funding available: $176,000
