Purpose

This program provides funding for organizations and physician-led volunteer initiatives in Massachusetts in the areas of:

  • Expanding access to high quality healthcare
  • Addressing the drivers of health
  • Reducing disparities in health
  • Promoting more equitable healthcare

Preference will be given to applicants proposing new programs or projects.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants in Massachusetts include:

  • Nonprofit organizations that provide direct care services or target public health issues which impact the healthcare system and the health of the community
  • Physician-led volunteer initiatives that provide free care to uninsured/underinsured patients and increase access to care for the medically underserved

Application process

Submit a letter of intent through the online grant portal by January 15.

Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with a deadline of March 1.
