Purpose

As part of the Continuum of Care (CoC) program, HUD will select up to 50 communities to participate in the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program to develop and implement a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness. At least 8 of the selected communities will be rural.

This application process is for community selection only. Project applications will occur after communities have been selected.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include collaboratives led by state, county, city, township, and special district governments, as well as nonprofit organizations.

Applicants must have registered through the 2020 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program registration process.
