Purpose

The Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy is a year-long leadership development opportunity that trains leaders from diverse backgrounds, sectors, and industries to improve the economic competitiveness and social viability of the Mississippi River Delta and Alabama Black Belt.

Sessions will cover policy areas and skills including, but not limited to:

  • Public health
  • Coalition building
  • Public-private partnerships
  • Infrastructure
  • Transportation
  • Education and workforce

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are interested individuals from diverse backgrounds, sectors, and industries who live or work in the Mississippi River Delta and Alabama Black Belt counties and parishes served by the Delta Regional Authority.

The Executive Academy program is free to leadership fellows selected to participate.
