The Sadie and Harry Davis Foundation provides grants to promote the health of children in Maine, which includes their physical, mental, and social health and well-being. Past awards have been made in rural areas of the state.
Most forms of grants will be considered, such as general operating support, program grants, capacity building grants, challenge grants, and matching grants. The Foundation does not make capital grants.
Proposals addressing oral health will not be accepted.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that serve children in Maine. Preference is given to organizations with budgets under $5 million.
Grants typically range from $5,000 to $25,000.
