The Vitalyst Spark program provides one year grants to support collaborations in the journey to address systemic change in Arizona.
Criteria for proposals include:
- Clearly identified part of the system that is hoped to be changed
- The readiness and capacity of the partnership
- Identified community health issues
- How its desired change will have a positive impact on community well-being
- How the planned effort will engage and benefit those affected by a community health issue
Eligible applicants are collaborations working to improve the health of individuals and communities in Arizona. Organizations must have tax-exempt status and may apply using a fiscal sponsor, such as a nonprofit, government, or faith-based organization.
Award amount: $30,000
Project period: 1 year
Number of awards: 7
Complete the discovery form at the bottom of the program website to begin the application process. Staff will be in contact to schedule a conversation and explore next steps.
Each cycle includes a discovery deadline. Potential partners will be invited to apply and given instructions for the submission deadline. Upcoming discovery deadlines are:
Fall:- Discovery: September 25, 2026
- Submission: October 8, 2026
- Discovery: January 22, 2027
- Submission: February 4, 2027
- Discovery: April 23, 2027
- Submission: May 6, 2027
