Purpose

Native Voices Rising Grants provide general operating support to strengthen native-led organizations that are improving the lives of their community members.

To receive favorable consideration, organizations should:

  • Be based in and currently serving a Native community or population
  • Have a strong set of leaders and board members who represent and are accountable to the Native American communities that are served
  • Have leadership development/education program(s) for Native community members
  • Engage Native community members in determining priorities and the focus of its programs
  • Engage a significant number of community members to take collective action to address community identified needs
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are native-led organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, 7871 designation, or a fiscal sponsor with the required status.
