Purpose

LoanPLUS is a program offered by Capital Fund, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The program provides loan capital and technical assistance designed to meet the needs of smaller health centers and/or those with limited financial resources. Health centers that have not been able to access financing through conventional lenders are encouraged to apply.

Borrowers will receive a customized report from an affiliate organization, Capital Link, for each year the loan is outstanding. Reports may include:

  • Market Snapshot
  • Performance Evaluation Profile
  • Value and Impact Report

Borrowers will also receive up to 5 hours annually of consultation in the areas of:

  • Sustainability and growth
  • Capital planning and readiness
  • Operational efficiency
  • Financial management
  • Articulating the health center's value
Eligibility

Eligible applicants include Federally-Qualified Community Health Centers, Section 330s, and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alikes. Other similar organizations may be eligible as determined on a case-by-case basis.

Smaller community-based health centers and/or those with limited financial resources are encouraged to apply.
