Purpose

CHS Community Investment provides grant funding for national and regional agricultural health and safety initiatives that provide training, equipment, and/or industry expertise to help keep farm families and rural communities safe.

Eligibility

Nonprofit 501(c)(3) or related charities with ag safety and health initiatives that have a national approach or reach multiple states in the CHS trade area are eligible to apply.

The CHS trade area includes Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Projects at the local level qualify for the Seeds for Stewardship Program.

Geographic coverage
National projects or projects that reach multiple states in the CHS trade area: Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
