Purpose

The Frank J. and Christine R. Bouska Family Scholarship will provide a scholarship for individuals from western Kansas who are pursuing certain nursing specialties and intend to practice for at least one year in a rural area of Kansas after graduation.

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Applicant must reside in western Kansas, west of U.S. Highway 81
  2. Admitted to a Kansas MSN-FNP program
  3. Agree to practice one year in rural Kansas as an FNP
  4. If none of the above pertain, individuals pursuing a CNS, CNM, or CRNA degree and agree to practice one year in rural Kansas
