West Virginia Health Care Authority provides grants for financially vulnerable hospitals in West Virginia for at-risk patient care services or health information systems technology sharing.


Eligible applicants are enrolled West Virginia Medicaid provider hospitals that are registered vendors with the state and registered with the West Virginia Secretary of State Office.

Project period: 1 year

Preference will be given to budget requests to purchase tangible items such as equipment, other capital expenditures, materials, supplies, and contracts. Funding for salaries and benefits will be limited to a short-term basis.
