Purpose

The First Responder Naloxone Program provides naloxone, supplies, and training for law enforcement organizations, courts, jails, correctional facilities, probation and parole, and non-EMS fire service agencies located in Virginia.

The project goals are to increase access and distribution of naloxone to all first responders in Virginia, increase participation in the DBHDS REVIVE! training for first responders, and to increase the number of REVIVE! Trainers and Master Trainers.

Eligibility

Eligible organizations include law enforcement organizations, courts, jails, correctional facilities, probation and parole, and non-EMS fire service agencies located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
