Purpose

West Michigan Youth Programs grants support projects for youth ages 0 – 18 living within a 4-county service area in western Michigan. Special emphasis is placed on projects in the following focus areas:

  • Health, nutrition and dental issues
  • Early childhood services and literacy
  • Parenting education
  • Education - including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Agriculture, and Math
  • Life experiences such as camp scholarships, Ag Science Education, 4-H, and FFA
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are public 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and governmental entities that are located in or directly serving youth from Lake, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties in West Michigan.

Programs that are collaborative and that have support from the broader community are encouraged.
