The Northern Michigan University Center for Rural Health and partners offer an essay contest for high school seniors who live and attend school in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, who are college/university bound in fall 2024, and intend to pursue healthcare careers.
Essay Question: If you could advocate for one change in the healthcare industry, what would it be and why?
Eligible participants are high school seniors who live and attend school in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, who are college/university bound in fall 2024, and intend to pursue healthcare careers.
Award amounts:
- First place - $500
- Second place - $250
- Third place - $100
