Purpose

Indiana's State Loan Repayment Program provides funds to pay back educational debt to primary care, mental, and dental healthcare providers who agree to complete a 2 year service obligation in a federally-designated medical, mental health, and/or dental Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).

Eligibility

Applicants must be U.S. citizens that hold an unlimited license to practice an eligible healthcare profession in Indiana and provide full-time primary health care services at an eligible practice site.

Indiana
Amount of funding

Up to $20,000 a year for a 2-year service commitment.

The contract may be renewed for an additional 2 years, for a total of 4 years and $40,000.
