The American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Native American Child Health presents the Native American Child Health Advocacy Award each year to recognize an individual who has made a major contribution to promoting Native American child health.
Eligible recipients are physicians and non-physicians who have made a major contribution to native American child health and exemplifies a lifelong commitment, equal to or greater than 10 years of service, to native American children and their communities.
Nominations from a spouse, partner, or family member are not permitted.
These awards are honorary.
