Purpose

The Boettcher Foundation provides responsive grants to organizations in Colorado through 3 programs:

Community Connections Grants support initiatives or infrastructure projects that strengthen the connections between individuals and organizations.

Rural Catalyst Grants are designed to strengthen the internal capacity of organizations to achieve their goals in the areas of strategic planning, convening, short term staff/contractors, and one-time operating costs.

Leadership Practitioner Catalyst Grants are intended to support one-time strategic projects for impact measurement work, expand program participation, formalize collaborations, or professional development. Requires participation in either the Rural Leaders Collaborative or Leadership Practitioners Collaborative.

Eligibility

Community Connections Grants: Nonprofit organizations and governmental entities in Colorado

Rural Catalyst Grants: Nonprofit organizations and governmental entities based in rural Colorado or primarily serve rural Colorado. Organizations should be working in the areas of affordable housing, childcare, community-to-community collaboration, mental health, rural placemaking, and more

Leadership Practitioner Catalyst Grants: Nonprofit organizations and governmental entities in Colorado that have participated in either the Rural Leaders Collaborative or the Leadership Practitioners Collaborative meetings

  • February 27 - Community Connections (Winter cycle)
  • May 29 - Leadership Practitioner Catalyst (Summer cycle)
  • June 19 - Community Connections (Summer cycle)
  • October 30 - Rural Catalyst (Fall cycle)
