The Wisconsin Office of Rural Health provides loan repayment assistance for primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and dentists practicing in an outpatient setting in a rural community in Wisconsin.
Eligible applicants are primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and dentists practicing in an outpatient setting in a rural community in Wisconsin.
Rural is defined as:
- A city, town, or village that has a population of less than 20,000 and that is at least 15 miles from any city, town, or village that has a population of 20,000 or more
- Not an urbanized area, as defined by the federal Census Bureau
Up to $50,000
Eligible providers may receive 2 Wisconsin Office of Rural Health awards during their career.
