Purpose

Blue Impact Grants will provide funding to support projects that focus on community health and wellness, holistic care, health equity, and supporting the needs of underserved populations in all Texas communities.

The Foundation's grant pillars target social determinants of health (SDOH), including:

  • Economic opportunity and stability - Addressing issues such as poverty, removing barriers to employment, providing good jobs, and upskilling
  • Nutrition - Supporting efforts to decrease hunger and increase access to nutritional food
  • Neighborhood and built environment - Focusing on affordable healthy housing, access to transportation, and access to physical activity
  • Locally defined health solutions - Addressing local health and human service needs
  • Optimal health outcomes - Helping close gaps in care, specifically in the priority areas of immunizations, diabetes care, cardiovascular care, behavioral health, early detection cancer screening, and maternal and infant health
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit, government, civic, and cultural organizations in Texas that have the financial capacity and qualified staff to oversee and manage the project.

Application process

Submit an online letter of intent by February 9, 2024. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with a deadline of March 15, 2024.
