Alaska Children's Trust will provide grants to organizations in Alaska for projects that engage Alaska Native youth in cultural activities, with the goal of improving the mental well-being and strengthening protective factors for participating youth.
Examples of cultural activities include, but are not limited to:
- Engage youth in subsistence activities
- Teach traditional arts and crafts
- Promote Native language learning
- Engage youth in cultural celebrations
Applications will be accepted from entities in Alaska that are:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Local and state government agencies
- Tribes
- Schools
- Regional educational attendance areas
Up to $1,000
