Purpose

The Texas A&M Health Rural Engagement Program provides technical assistance to rural communities, hospitals, clinics, and providers to strengthen healthcare access and delivery by improving efforts to expand the healthcare workforce and enhance operations and financial viability of healthcare facilities.

Technical assistance will help organizations develop and implement sustainable action plans to improve performance in the following areas:

  • Financial performance
  • Operational efficiencies
  • Quality and safety
  • Service line development
  • Workforce development opportunities
  • Value-based care support
  • Virtual care management support
Eligibility

Rural communities, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in Texas are eligible to receive assistance.
