Purpose

Alliant Energy and the Alliant Energy Foundation build stronger communities through investments in organizations and communities in Iowa and Wisconsin. Focus areas include:

  • Hunger and housing, including household needs, food and nutrition, and transportation
  • Workforce development, including agriculture, literacy, STEM, transportation, career exploration and job training, and youth development and mentoring
  • Environmental stewardship, including conservation, education, park updates, and trail projects
  • Community safety and engagement, including first responders, community events, playground updates, and disaster readiness and relief
Eligibility

Past awardees have been nonprofit organizations, charitable programs, and government entities located in Iowa and Wisconsin.

Applications are accepted 3 times throughout the year. Deadlines are typically January 15, May 15, and September 15 each year.
