Minnesota Innovations in Perinatal Health

The Minnesota Innovations in Perinatal Health grant will fund projects that center perinatal health innovations to improve health outcomes for rural, Tribal, and other communities. Funded activities will involve activities in community engagement and communications focused on improving perinatal health and supporting implementation of the Perinatal Health Strategic Plan.
Priority will be given to applicants that:
- Are rooted in and driven by the community served
- Use community engagement and work in partnership with community members experiencing inequities in perinatal health
- Complement and build on other related activities or initiatives in the community
Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, faith-based organizations, social service organizations, community nonprofit organizations, Tribal governments, and community clinics located in Minnesota.
Award ceiling: $40,000 for 2 years
Award floor: $10,000 for 2 years
Project period: 2 years
Estimated number of awards: 4
Estimated total program funding:
$160,000 for 2 years
