Purpose

Aspirus Health offers an opportunity for visiting medical residents and fellows to complete a rotation in a rural setting with a nonprofit, community-directed health system that serves northeastern Minnesota, northern and central Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The program offers learning experiences in both outpatient and inpatient, working under the supervision of healthcare professionals in facilities with resources to meet the needs of rural communities.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are students enrolled in a U.S. based, accredited program in the fields:

  • Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP)
  • Audiology
  • Doctor of Medicine
  • DNP Leadership Non-Clinical
  • DNP or APC Student Project
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Medical Student Project
  • Physicians Assistant
  • Resident
