Colorado eHealth Spark Fund
The Colorado eHealth Spark Fund offers funding to support new ideas that improve community health through technology.
Projects should further the goals of increased community engagement in health IT, secure and appropriate sharing of data, and responsible innovation focused on:
- Care coordination
- Telehealth services and expanding digital access
- Health IT adoption in rural communities
- Health data governance
- Consent management
Project examples include, but are not limited to:
- Improving patient access or adoption of telehealth or other digital health tools
- Language access for patients in digital health tools or services
- Establishing access to a health information exchange (HIE)
- Transitions to Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Digitization of paper records
- Data interoperability and standards alignment
- Targeted pilot projects
- Adoption or implementation of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Enhancements in cybersecurity measures
- Implementation of a mobile integrated health program
Eligible applicants:
- Tax-exempt organizations
- Government and public agencies
- Tribal nations
Award ceiling: $50,000
Project period: July 1, 2026 - June 15,
2027
