The California Primary Care Association is offering below-market rate loan funding at eligible California community health centers to:
- Upgrade, expand, or build new facilities
- Strengthen infrastructure
- Boost long-term financial sustainability
The loan is intended to improve healthcare access by offering eligible community health centers:
- Technical assistance
- Low interest rates
- Flexible repayment terms
- A streamlined and supportive application process
Eligible borrowers are California-based community health centers, including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), FQHC Look-Alikes, rural health centers, tribal clinics, community clinics, and free clinics meeting Primary Care Development Corporation's standard lending criteria.
Loans minimums are $500,000 and there is no maximum. The targeted loan size is $4-5 million. Higher loan requests are subject to identifying a lending partner.
Loan terms can range up to 10 years of maturity and amortization is flexible depending on the purpose and feasibility. The standard maximum is 15 years.
