Purpose

The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is offering research funding to a single entity to:

  1. Strengthen tribal communities' drug data systems to monitor for and detect emerging drug threats
  2. Support tribal communities' development or scaling of early warning systems that disseminate actionable data about emerging drug threats to various audiences
Eligibility

Eligible applicants:

  • Federally-recognized tribes
  • Tribal serving organizations
  • Tribal colleges and universities (TCUs)
  • Urban Indian organizations (UIOs)
  • Tribal Epidemiological Centers (TECs)
  • Nonprofit organizations partnering directly with tribal entities
