This opportunity offers loan repayment assistance for mental health professionals in Florida. FRAME Awardees are required to provide 25 hours of volunteer service annually in an approved clinic or community service project.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Hold a clear/active Florida license to practice
- Accept Medicaid if eligible
- Be actively employed providing primary care services in an eligible practice location within a Mental Health Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) designated by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), or at a Rural Hospital certified by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)
- Provide face-to-face direct patient care
- Be a U.S. citizen or national
- Have a qualified student loan
Eligible professions:
- Psychiatrists
- Psychologists
- Psychiatric advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)
- Licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs)
- Licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs)
- Licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs)
- Licensed practical nurses (LPNs)
- Physician assistants (PAs)
- Registered nurses (RNs)

Eligible mental health professionals can receive up to 25% of their existing principal student loan balance, with a maximum of $75,000 over a 4-year eligibility period.
