This opportunity offers loan repayment assistance for dental care professionals in Florida. FRAME Awardees are required to provide 25 hours of volunteer service annually in an approved clinic or community service project.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Hold a clear/active Florida license
- Accept Medicaid and have an established sliding fee scale
- Be actively employed providing dental services in an eligible practice location in a designated Dental Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
- Provide face-to-face direct patient care
- Be a U.S. citizen or national
- Have a qualified student loan
Eligible applicants:
- Dentists (DDS/DMD)
- Dental hygienists
- Dental students
Dentists can receive up to $250,000 over a 5-year eligibility period.
Dental hygienists can receive up to $37,500 over a 5-year eligibility period.
