Missouri Community Health Foundation Loan Forgiveness Program

Loan forgiveness fund that provides partial or full funding for healthcare professional students from urban and rural Missouri to attend medical, dental, nursing, physician assistant, dental hygiene, optometry, and pharmacy school in the primary care fields.
The program pays for tuition and applicable education-related expenses. In return, recipients give back to their communities by completing a service commitment at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the state.
Eligible students in the last 2 years of school:
- Medical
- Dental
- Optometry
- Pharmacy
- Physician assistant
- Dental hygiene
- Advanced practice nursing
- Licensed practical, associate, and bachelor nursing (only in Kansas City and selected areas)
Primary care specialties:
- Family medicine
- Internal medicine
- Obstetrics/gynecology
- Pediatrics
- Internal medicine/pediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Child and adolescent psychiatry
- Adult medicine
- Women's health
- General dentistry
- Pediatric dentistry
- Public health dentistry
The program pays for tuition and applicable education-related expenses.
Recipients must serve a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 4 years of service at a Missouri Federally Qualified Health Center (1 year of service for each year of support).
