Puʻulu Lapaʻau is offering mini-grants designed to support programs that promote the health and well-being of healthcare professionals across rural Hawaii.
Program priorities:
- Stress reduction initiatives
- Burnout prevention programs
- Overall healthcare professional well-being
- Evidence‑based wellness approaches
- Programs accessible to providers across Hawaii, especially rural and neighbor island communities
Examples of eligible activities:
- Wellness workshops or structured well-being programs
- Peer support initiatives
- Resilience or stress‑management training
- Mindfulness or mental health programming
- Workplace culture or systems‑level well-being initiatives
- Physical health programs or events
The Puʻulu Lapaʻau Mini‑Grant Program is supported through Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) funding.
Eligible applicants:
- Healthcare organizations
- Healthcare facilities
- Professional associations
- Nonprofit organizations
- Educational institutions
- Other entities serving healthcare professionals in Hawaii
Collaborative proposals involving multiple organizations are encouraged. Programs must serve healthcare professionals practicing in Hawaii.
