Purpose

The Rural Health Care Access Program (RHCAP) provides funding to organizations for projects that help rural and underserved Idaho communities improve access to primary medical and dental healthcare.

Funding may be used for:

  • Community development projects
  • Telehealth projects
  • Recruitment and retention, such as physician loan repayment and recruitment incentives
Eligibility

Applicants must be government organizations or nonprofit organizations registered with the Idaho secretary of state.
