Primary Care Training and Enhancement: Residency Training in Primary Care (PCTE-RTPC) Program Inactive
To increase the distribution of primary care physicians in rural and underserved areas, this grant is designed to enhance accredited residency training programs in family medicine, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, or combined internal medicine and pediatrics (med-peds) in rural and/or underserved areas. A voluntary, 5-year payment model that will provide greater flexibility to ambulance care teams to address emergency healthcare needs of Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) beneficiaries following a 911 call.
