The revisions will add two new forms: (1) The CSF Verification Form, which is used to verify transfers to critical shortage facilities not already recorded in the online portal; and (2) the NURSE Corps Nurse Faculty Employment Verification Form, which is used to determine if nurse faculty participants are eligible to transfer to another approved school of nursing. Comments regarding these revisions must be submitted no later than January 26, 2018.

North Carolina Seeks to Widen Medicaid Network by Paying Docs' Debt
Nov 27, 2017 - North Carolina has amended their pending Medicaid waiver request which would shift the program from fee-for-service to managed care by 2019. The amendment would allow the state to offer loan repayment to physicians who accept Medicaid patients, a move expected to improve access for Medicaid beneficiaries by increasing the number of physicians they can see. It would also require Medicaid enrollees to be employed or actively searching for work and would impose premiums of 2% of a beneficiary's income for those with incomes at or above 51% of the federal poverty level. Nov 20, 2017 - Notice of intent from the Indian Health Service (IHS) to continue collecting information as part of the IHS Loan Repayment Program (LRP). IHS seeks to collect professional, educational, financial, and general applicant information to help determine eligibility for loan repayment. Successful applicants receive loan repayment assistance in exchange for an initial two-year commitment to practice full-time in an eligible, often remote, IHS facility. Comments regarding the proposed information collection must be submitted by January 19, 2017.
