Feb 21, 2024 - The Census Scientific Advisory Committee will hold a virtual public meeting on March 14-15, 2024. The Committee will discuss policy, research, and technical issues for a range of Census Bureau activities, including decennial, economic, field operations, information technology, and statistics. Participation is available in person or via webcast. Meeting information will be published on the Census Advisory Committees website.

Feb 20, 2024 - The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is requesting nominations for the National Advisory Council for Healthcare Research and Quality to serve 3-year terms and replace seven current members whose terms will expire in November 2024. The committee advises the AHRQ director and the Secretary of Health and Human Services regarding AHRQ's mission. At least one member of the committee must be familiar with rural health issues. Nominations are due within 60 days of this notice.

Feb 20, 2024 - Notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) announcing the adjusted income eligibility guidelines for free and reduced-price meals and free milk through the National School Lunch Program (and Commodity School Program), School Breakfast Program, Special Milk Program for Children, Child and Adult Care Food Program, and Summer Food Service Program. In 2024, states and Indian Tribal Organizations that administer the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer for Children Program will also begin to use these guidelines. These guidelines are applicable from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
